The Panama City Department of Economic Development

The Panama City Department of Economic Development strives to make the City of Panama a better place to live, work, and play by supporting business development growth, expansion and relocation activities and undertakings, encouraging suitable living environment that is friendly, safe, clean and provides for expanded economic growth that will create new businesses and employment opportunities in the City resulting in tax base stabilization while creating a quality of life that is second to none.

The Bay County Chamber of Commerce

The Bay County Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization designed to support the business interests of the community and to provide services and information about local businesses to the residents and visitors of Bay County. 

The Economic Development Alliance

The Economic Development Alliance of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce mission is to encourage business development by assisting existing businesses as well as recruiting new businesses. Some of the aspects of the Economic Development Council include: an existing business contact program to assist in the resolution of problems existing businesses might have, provide demographic and other market data to prospective new businesses; and a recruitment effort to bring new businesses and services to our community.
