The Panama City Planning Board is designated as the local planning agency (LPA) and acts in an advisory capacity to the City Commission. As the LPA, this board holds public hearings and makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding the adoption of and amendments to the Comprehensive Plan; changes to the Land Development Code; changes in zoning of property; and Level III (Large Scale) Developments.
Planning Board meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m, unless otherwise noticed due to holidays or scheduling conflicts. Information concerning Planning Board agenda items are located below, or contact the Planning & Land Use Services Division at 850-872-3025.
