The Marina Civic Center

The City of Panama City's Marina Civic Center is a performing arts facility committed to providing cultural enrichment opportunities for the citizens of Panama City, Bay County and the surrounding area. The seating capacity of the Marina Civic center is 2508. Conference rooms are also available for business meetings and seminars. The City of Panama City's Marina Civic Center is located on the Panama City Marina at 8 Harrison Avenue. Administrative offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

The Panama City Marina Civic Center ticket office is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and also on Saturday and Sunday if an event is scheduled for either of these days. Tickets may be purchased at the Marina Civic Center located at 8 Harrison Avenue. The telephone number for the Panama City Marina Civic Center is 850-763-4696.


Martin Theatre

The historic Martin Theatre is located at 409 Harrison Avenue in Downtown Panama City. The Martin Theatre is a 460-seat state-of-the-art facility that hosts many popular plays and attractions. 


"The Green Room" at the Martin Theatre complex is available for business and social functions. The business and ticket offices are open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visit their website at www.martintheatre.com or call 850-763-8080 for more information.


The Visual Arts Center

The Visual Arts Center of Northwest Florida is located in Panama City's first City Hall, built in 1925, at 5 East Fourth Street. The Visual Arts Center hosts approximately 12 events annually. Indoor gallery spaces include the Main Gallery, The Higby Gallery, Lobby Gallery, Walkway Gallery and Impressions - a Hands-on Children's Gallery. 

Since the Visual Arts Center opened in 1988, the visual arts program has presented some of the world's most notable art exhibits, as well as artists of local, state, and regional acclaim. The Center has hosted exhibits of Russian Icons, national Watercolor Competition and international Photography Competition. 

The Visual Arts Center galleries host annual exhibits by Florida artists as well as Bay County School students. They also offer classes, workshops and lectures for the community. Gallery hours are: Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m; Wednesday and Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m and closed on Monday. Opening receptions are scheduled with every exhibition change.
