Police Explorers

Building The Future Of Law Enforcement
Learning For Life - Explore Law Enforcement
The Panama City Police Explorers is an organization of young men and women interested in a career in law enforcement. Any high school age youth who has a clean police record, who is physically and mentally fit, and who maintains a minimum 2.0 GPA is eligible to become an Explorer.

About Exploring
Explorers receive Law Enforcement training and police tactics including first aid / CPR, radio communications, defensive tactics, and firearms. Explorers also assist the police department with civic functions and details as well as ride-a-longs with real police officers.

Explorers are issued uniforms and equipment necessary to accomplish their mission. Explorers go on many field trips and travel to compete in Explorer competitions all over the country.
