Boil Water Notice for northwest corner of 23rd St. and MLK Jr. Blvd. has been cancelled.

Update: The contractor is rescheduling the repairs to the eight-inch fire line. A Precautionary Boil Water Notice is not needed at this time. The City will notify businesses when the work is rescheduled.


Businesses on the northwest corner of W. 23rd St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will experience a temporary interruption in water service beginning at midnight on Wednesday, January 19th. The City’s contractor will be making repairs to an eight-inch fire line overnight.

A Precautionary Boil Water Notice will be issued for the impacted businesses when water is restored. The notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. The City will test the water daily and notify residents when it is safe to drink.

The impacted business are located at 605 - 615 W. 23rd St., 2333 - 2353 Hwy. 77, 2397 - 2399 Hwy. 77 and all units in Gilberg’s Plaza, 2491 Hwy. 77.
