The City of Panama City is now accepting applications for the Spring 2018 Panama City Academy. This program is designed to provide residents with a first-hand look at their city government.
This free program is open to the public 18 years-of-age or older. Applicants who live or own a business within the City of Panama City limits will have priority. Each week, participants will learn about different city departments through a series of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and interactive tours.
“One of the great things about the Panama City Citizens Academy is the level of engagement staff sees from participants,” said Mayor Greg Brudnicki. “If you have ever wondered what the City is involved in, this program gives you a behind the scenes look of your city’s day to day operations.”
Panama City Academy runs for twelve (12) consecutive Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. beginning March 6th and ending with a graduation ceremony on May 22nd.
