Backflow Prevention Device Inspection Deadline Extended Six Months

Update: Businesses that received a letter reminding them to provide the City's Utilities Department with an annual inspection of their water meter backflow prevention device have an additional six months to provide the report.

The City of Panama City will be mailing letters to consumers required to provide the city's Utilities Department with an annual inspection of water meter backflow prevention device.

The purpose of a backflow prevention device is to keep unsafe drinking water from mixing with the potable water supply.

If you receive a letter and have not already submitted your annual report, please do so within the next (60) sixty days.
