Twice-a-Week Garbage Pick-up to Resume Monday, MARCH 4TH

Twice a Week Map

The City of Panama City will resume twice-a-week garbage (blue cans) collection on Monday, March 4, 2019.

In order to resume collections, some changes were made to the collection schedule used prior to Hurricane Michael. Customers are encouraged to check the updated map for new collection days.

While service was reduced to once-a-week, the City Commission approved a reduction of $7 a month. Beginning with the March billing period, the City will also resume charging the normal garbage rate.

Following Hurricane Michael, a number of customers requested a second garbage container (blue can). If customers determine they no longer need the additional blue can, they should contact the City’s Solid Waste Division at (850) 872-3172 (Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) to arrange for the turn-in of the extra can.
