The City of Panama City is excited to announce the official reopening of the boat ramp at the Panama City Marina on Tuesday, May 21st at 2:00 p.m. Please join Panama City Mayor Greg Brudnicki, Commissioners and other special guests at the marina for a Ribbon Cutting and Ceremonial First Boat Launch.

The Panama City Marina including the boat ramp was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael. Many organizations and city employees have come together to clean, repair and reopen the boat ramp for the summer boating season.

Students at AMIkids Panama City Marine Institute (PCMI) have been invited to launch the first vessel at the boat ramp. Divers at the school volunteered to assist the City in removing small debris from the ramp that could have damaged boat trailers and vehicles.

Citizens launching boats at the boat ramp may enter the marina area at the intersection of Luverne Avenue and W. Government Street. Once onsite, trailer traffic should loop through the site to the staging area just north of the boat ramp that was used before the storm. Please review the map. The Harrison Avenue entrance to the marina will remain closed while repairs are made to the bulkheads.
