DBPR suspends on premises consumption of alcohol at bars statewide

Effective immediately, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation is suspending on premises consumption of alcohol at bars statewide.

This applies to vendors who derive more than 50-percent of revenue from alcohol sales. These businesses may continue to sell alcoholic beverages in sealed containers for off-premises consumption.

Vendors who are licensed as public food service establishments or restaurants may continue to sell alcohol as outlined in Phase 2 of the Safe. Smart. Step-by-Step. Plan for Florida’s Recovery.
