Residents facing eviction or foreclosure can apply for assistance through ReHouse Bay

Residents facing eviction or foreclosure are urged to apply for assistance at, a housing initiative established by Bay County and the City of Panama City.

The initiative offers a variety of housing assistance programs, including rental assistance and foreclosure prevention. For those struggling to make rent or mortgage payments as a result of COVID-19, rental assistance and foreclosure prevention funding is paid directly to lenders or landlords to help tenants or homeowners avoid eviction.

Residents can apply online at or in-person at the City of Panama City’s Community Development Office, located at 501 Harrison Avenue.
