The City of Panama City will hold a Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting for the new skate spot in Downtown Panama City on Tuesday, October 20th at 3:30 p.m. The 4,400 square foot modern skate spot is located at 530 Jenks Avenue.

The skate spot is open daily from dawn to dusk. New Line Skateparks completed construction ahead of schedule. The Quality of Life team is working to complete the hardscape, landscape and installation of new benches.

The skate spot has an “S” like floor pattern with accents of colored concrete. The integrated rideable features offer users a multitude of opportunities and challenges within a relatively small footprint. A quarter pipe and multiple banks allows riders to flow seamlessly throughout the park without pushing. The stairs, rails and manual pad offer riders the opportunity to use obstacles typically found in urban centers.
