The use of recreational vehicles, travel trailers, or trailers as temporary emergency residential dwellings on private property or designated areas within the City is permitted until April 11, 2021.
The City Commission adopted Ordinance 2673 following Hurricane Michael to allow for the use of temporary structures during the hurricane recovery period. The Commission has determined that period to be 30 months from the date of the declared emergency for Hurricane Michael.
Following April 11, 2021, the City's Code Enforcement Team will begin encouraging property owners to remove temporary structures through reminder letters.
