FIN Dredge Project PC21-039

 

The City of Panama City in conjunction with Eastern Shipbuilding Group will accept sealed proposals for “Bid No. PC21-039 Fin Dredge Project”. We are seeking bids to have approximately 15,000 cubic yards of material removed from Watson Bayou mechanically using a hydraulic clam shell bucket.  and placed into a water tight barged.   The spoil material must be barged to Eastern Shipbuilding’s Allanton facility for placement in the permitted spoil ponds. The material must be transported from the barge to the spoil ponds using water tight trucks.  This work needs to be complete by August 20, 2021.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held May 20th 2021 AT 10:00 CST at 2200 Nelson Street Panama City Florida Visitor Control Office to sign in.  This is a working shipyard so you will need to have PPE to enter to include a face mask.

The successful bidder will be required to submit a list of his subcontractors for approval before award of contract. Bid documents as well as any addendums will be posted to the city’s website at www.pcgov.org as well as ESG’s website www.easternshipbuilding.com.

Bids may be submitted in person at the Purchasing Department or via U. S. mail or courier service. Bids must be plainly marked, Bid No. PC 21-039 FIN Dredge Project”. Please review all documents pertaining to this bid before submitting requested information. The deadline for submitting bids is June 24th 2021 at 3 pm CST. At this time the bids will be taken to room 010 at Panama City Hall, opened and read aloud.

The City of Panama City reserves the right to reject any one or all proposals, or any part of any proposal, to waive any informality in any proposal, and to award a contract deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
