Diane Hagler received her Master of Science with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Troy University. She is a member of Bay County SHRM, a local chapter of HR Florida and an affiliate of Society for Human Resource Management. As the Risk Manager, Diane acts as a liaison between injured employees, the City’s Workers’ Compensation program, and our insurance carrier. She serves as a first point of contact for citizens who have claims of damage or who have caused damage to city equipment and property. Diane serves as the Secretary for the City’s three distinct Safety Committees. Prior to becoming part of the Human Resources and Risk Management team, Diane served as the City’s Payroll Coordinator for 14 years. Her devotion to public service is evidenced by her tenure at the City of Panama City, and her work as a volunteer serving the best interests of abused and neglected children in judicial proceedings with the Guardian Ad Litem Program for the 14th Judicial Circuit.
